VirtualDisk is the premier automatic removable-media cataloging program. Installed as a Control Panel, VirtualDisk runs in the background and automatically catalogs all floppies, cartridges (SyQuest™, Bernoulli™, Zip™, Magneto-Optical, Floptical), and other removable media as they are ejected. VirtualDisk creates a dynamically re-sizable Catalog file partition that can store over 250,000 entries. You can configure Virtual Disk to create a catalog that can hold over a million entries.
• Catalogs archives created by StuffIt, CompactPro, DiskDoubler, Copy Disk, DiskDup Pro, Retrospect and popular file compacting programs.
• Catalogs individual folders or archive files on any mounted volume. This makes it easy to catalog SCSI hard drives and network volumes without un-mounting them.
